Our History

1992
Presto Window Cleaning began as a two-man operation serving the communities of Atlanta, Georgia, offering retail and residential window cleaning services.

1998
Judah Clark, having run a home repair business for three years, acquired the Presto name and expanded the company's services to include high-rise building maintenance.

1999
Presto secured its first high-rise window cleaning project and shifted its focus to this specialized service, gradually phasing out retail window cleaning.

2000
Presto was awarded its first glass restoration and precast cleaning project for The Dave Building, an 8-story building in Atlanta. The company began phasing out residential services to concentrate on commercial properties.

2001
Presto landed its first major waterproofing project and was contracted to restore all the glass at the CNN Center in Atlanta. The company began developing products for high-rise building restoration.

2002
Presto secured the window cleaning contracts for Philips Arena, the entire Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) campus, and the Georgia Power building.

2003
Presto Window Cleaning, Inc. was renamed Presto Property Services, Inc. to reflect its expanded service offerings. That year, Presto performed a full exterior renovation of Park Lane on Peachtree Street in Atlanta.

2004
Judah Clark partnered with Dr. Tom Bickley, Ph.D., to create a full line of specialized products for the building restoration and maintenance industry, leading to the founding of Presto Restoration Products, Inc. Presto Property Services continued to thrive, adding the full exterior renovation of EarthLink Live to its portfolio.

2005
Presto restored all exterior glass, precast, and metal frames on the AGCO building and cleaned and sealed the AGCO parking deck.

2006
Presto began offering nationwide services, completing impressive restoration projects across the country and building a network of qualified service companies nationwide.

2007
Presto landed its largest restoration project at 1100 Peachtree Street. Other significant projects that year included three buildings at Lenox Park, Omni Hotel at CNN Center, 75 5th Street Atlanta, 1001 Summit Blvd, and The Norcross Atlanta Marriott.

2008
Presto phased out standard maintenance services such as window cleaning to focus on large exterior building restoration projects utilizing Presto Restoration Products' effective product line. A significant project that year was the restoration of the Turlington Building in Tallahassee, Florida.

2012
Presto celebrated its 20th anniversary. Click here to view a small portion of the projects completed over the past two decades.

2014
Presto completed its first international restoration project in Puerto Rico and achieved its highest annual revenue in the past seven years.

2015
Presto continued to restore large buildings nationwide, building its reputation within the commercial real estate and property management community.

Presto Restoration Products & Services is the industry-leading expert in exterior building restoration and maintenance, and the only services company with a complete line of products for restoring and protecting glass, metal, and stone. Presto offers over 72 different services, focusing on the refinishing of architectural materials.
